Cheks
A downloadable game for Windows
Cheks is a turn-based strategy game based off of chess. Every five turns a new rule is added to the game to eventually result in chaotic and incomprehensible games.
Instructions -
Left mouse button is used to select all buttons, move pieces, and select them. Scrolling over a rule on the left side of the screen results in description of what the rule does. Right mouse button is used to switch movement priority as shown on the left side of the screen. This changes how the game prioritizes which type of movement to show the player. You can scroll through rules using arrow keys, scrolling, or by using LMB on the scrollbar. In the settings menu, you can enable and disable rules.
